COME OUT AND SEE THE FUTURE!!!
Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Mark Twain and Mary Shelly grew up in a time
without computers, space-age plastics, or jet propulsion. Electricity
was a fledgling enterprise, there were no trans-continental flights,
and the moon seemed an impossible dream away. The major technological
powers at the turn of the last century were steam, clockwork, and
spring-propelled gadgets. They created futures then that would affect
peoples' view of what should be for the rest of the century. This event
will be an homage to their visions.
